Tom Foley Is our creator in the conference room. With a democratic and transformational leadership mindset and passion for equity and inclusion, Tom leans on his legal training and innovative thinking to create great experiences for our guests and great impact for our community.“


Tom started his career practicing law in New York, handling large civil litigation, mergers, acquisitions, and real estate matters. After actively practicing law for 15+ years, Tom transitioned to explore social impact business opportunities and founded Indigo Group on the belief that businesses must drive social impact. This work has included founding a business resource center focused on launching and developing women and minority-owned businesses, as well as leading NextUp’s Allyship program to advance women in the workplace. 


Tom regularly speaks and facilitates workshops for corporations aiming to advance their diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts. Tom is an adjunct professor in the entrepreneurial program at Paul Quinn College, historically black colleges and universities in south Dallas, and serves on the Advisory Council for Tuskegee University. Tom is a Fellow for the Dallas Economic Leadership Academy through the Aspen Institute and Of Counsel at Wright Connatser. 


Tom earned his J.D. from the Villanova University School of Law and his B.A. from Colgate University. Tom lives in Dallas, Texas with his wife Roopa and two children.
