Tiffany began her culinary career at the age of fifteen and quickly knew that she wanted to be in the kitchen for her career. Upon high school graduation, Tiffany vowed to study abroad yearly while attending the Art Institute of Houston. She spent time in Costa Rica, Mexico, Italy, France, China, and Hawaii; that is where she developed a deep appreciation for different cultures and cuisines. Her travels were followed by stints in kitchens throughout Houston and Dallas, including Pesce, Grotto Cucina Napolitano, and Go Fish Ocean Club.
In 2010, Tiffany teamed with the Halstin Group to open Private|Social in the heart of Uptown Dallas, and Tiffany gained recognition from the Dallas Morning News as one of the best chefs in DFW. Tiffany expanded her fan base and gained broad notoriety when she appeared on Bravo’s Top Chef. Tiffany has since appeared on numerous television shows, including Top Chef, Top Chef Junior, and Chopped Junior.
Tiffany serves as a member of Les Dames d’Escoffier, a spokesperson for the James Beard Foundation’s sustainability efforts, an ambassador for diabetes organization Novo Nordisk, and sits on the Board of Directors for Food Policy Action. At heart, Tiffany loves being in our Roots kitchens. She lives in Plano, Texas with her partner, Will.
